Life has definitely been busy since we started this blog.
I was so excited to stumble upon it tonight. All of the memories just came flooding back. We had so much fun that first year of marriage. We ate our at expensive restaurants, we stayed up way too late watching Bourdain on Netflix, and slept in as late as we wanted on Saturdays.
Since then we've added 3 little ones. I can't even believe how much God has blessed us. Our sweet and smart Harrison, now four and a half was born right before we moved to Griffin. Our adorable firecracker Harlow, almost 3, was born while we were living in Griffin, and sweet, funny Hattie Jane was born shortly after we moved to Columbus. They bring us so much joy and laughter every day and have taught us so much.
Life is definitely different than it was back when we were first blogging. We've lived more. Our lives have more stress. We have more things that HAVE to be done, more hours that need to be worked, and i don't even know the last time either of us have slept past 7, but life is certainly Happily Ever After.
It's an amazing thing to live out your calling. It's sometimes a hard thing. There are hard days, but God brings us joy throughout it all. He keeps calling us, keeps working on us, He keeps making us into who He wants us to be.
Right now, life is good. Even with the flu.
There is so much that's not right in the world currently, it's nice to know that home is safe and altogether lovely. I don't take that for granted.
