Training has begun and we are busy!
We also haven't had internet in the house sometimes so it has made it harder to update the blog. I have decided on my own to update days 59, 60, and 61 of our married life together in one nice big blog because Josh is asleep (and has been since 8:00).... I asked him if he liked the idea and took his silence to mean yes.
Update:
on Monday and Tuesday the cadets had time to hang out and get to know each other here at the EBC. The second years came back Monday and meal times are full of laughter, fun, and lots of children. Monday and Tuesday were two days of sleeping in and socializing for me and two days of intense long days for Josh. (He's doing really great at his new job though!)
Tuesday night we had the annual 1st year vs. 2nd year softball game. I had a headache so I wasn't sure if I was going to play....but I didn't want to be anti social so I headed down to the field. I jumped right into the game and everything was great....I was feeling like It was just yesterday that i was on an undefeated softball team instead of more than 10 years. I went up to bat and got a great hit and could see the proud way Josh was looking at me.... it was lovely.
Then while playing first base I missed the ball and caught it with my eye....
yes. my eye.

"The one with the Black eye"
Jordan: Right now its pink and red...it changes color a lot. next time I will make sure i catch it..
So that's what happened Monday and Tuesday.
Today is Wednesday and today has truly been wonderful. I had the opportunity to meet with the Principals and share with them what has been on my heart and tell them why I love Jesus. I'm really excited to be under the ministry and teaching of the Hofer's over the next 2 years. Josh continues you to be really busy but he has really settled in to this new chapter of his life. We are blessed beyond what either of us could have imagined. I can't wait to spend these next two years here at the EBC with old friends, new friends, and a wonderful husband.
