Day 77

Friday!  Hooray for Friday!

Here at the EBC we are happy to report that we are going green. 

"The one with the recycling"

Jordan:  Now we can recycle cans, paper, plastic, and cardboard.  I like this! We should be good stewards of the Earth and this is a step in the right direction.

Josh: We placed these bins around the campus today. It is about time. Stewardship. People have been very excited and involved in recylcing as we have already had to empty the recycling dumpster several times before we could even get these bins placed. That and better will do.

"The one with the canteen on its way to do disaster work"

Jordan:  Today Covington, GA borrowed a canteen from the EBC in preparation of Hurricane Irene.  My prayers tonight are definitely going out to the people in the hurricane's path. 

Josh: The group from Covington will be leaving first thing in the morning with this unit to serve those effected by the hurricane. We will be praying for all those effected and the volunteers who are going to serve.

"The one with the yummy cookies from Jaime, and a relaxing night at home"

Jordan: These are peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips.  They are delicilous.  We decided to stay in tonight. It's been a busy week and we are both tired.  It's nice sometimes to just stay in and spend time with the person you love so much.

Josh: Cooookieees. I turned into the Cookie Monster incase you couldn't tell.
