Day 37

Hello from Jacksonville! 

We've had a busy day today.   It all started in Augusta.... actually it started in Atlanta, but we were in Augusta early.

"The one with the Augusta Kroc"

Jordan:  Early this morning we headed to Augusta for the ribbon cutting and first worship service at the Augusta Kroc.  The building is beautiful and we had a great day. 

Josh: This really is an amazing facility. It is hard to believe how much has happened since I spent Christmas Assignment here. There has been so much hard work, planning and attention to detail. Congrats to all who had a hand in making this facility possible. May this building bring God glory and create opportunities for lives to be changed.

Josh: This was the scene before the festivities began. God was honored in this place today as Commissioner Cooper reminded the Corps and the Augusta Community that the building is nice but the Church is made of living stones. He reminded everyone that Christ must be the cornerstone upon which this building is built, and upon which the Church is built.

Jordan:  It was so hot, I really wanted to go for a swim"

Josh: My old friend from Christmas, here's looking at you Anthony, took us on a tour of the facility. Last time I took a tour of this facility they had just dug a hole in the ground to put a pool. Thanks Anthony for the tour. I know you miss me. I saw a picture in the cubicle. I miss you too kind sir.

Jordan:  Amazing, the whole place is amazing

Josh: I was all ready to work out and then I remembered I was in uniform. Have I mentioned how impressive this place is? The thing is, as great as the facility is, there are even better people in Augusta. I had been missing my Augusta family. It was great to see everyone, and you welcomed us like you always do. Until next time, I will miss you Augusta.

After the amazing time we had at the Kroc  we headed to Jacksonville......but first we had to make a pit stop in Savannah for dinner (of course!)

Jordan:  Savannah was lovely, we need to go back as soon as possible..

Jordan:  I was really loving this road...it's a little hard to walk/drive on though

Josh: Savannah is Braves' country.

Jordan:  Delicious, Way too many places to choose from though

Josh: I thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Shrimp Factory.

Josh: I can admit it. I am a clown.

We made it to jacksonville!  We're exhausted but excited to be here. Good night!
