Day 29

A Lazy Saturday In Lawrenceville..

Last night after I was finished with work we drove over to my Mom's house to spend the weekend with Felix.  Felix is our dog and he has been lonely since my Mom has been in Uganda.  He's had a rough week with all of the storms and the fireworks last weekend so we came to give him lots of love and attention.  This also gives us a chance to have access to free laundry!  Hooooooray for free laundry!
"The One With the Adorable Felix"
Jordan:  He was extremely happy to see us and to have us stay the whole time. Thanks to Gabe for coming and helping with him too!
Josh: He is so afraid of the fireworks. Isn't he looking cute mom?

We spend a lazy morning getting to know our i Phones better and hanging out with Gabe. Then we had the opportunity to watch the Braves beat the Phillies (always a happy time.)

"The One where we had Dinner"
Jordan:  It was nice to go back to McAlister's.  Next time we come out here we need Papi's
Josh: something to eat while we watched the game
"The One with the Church of the Redeemer"
Jordan:  Tonight we went to this lovely church to see the poet Amena Brown perform.  The church was beautiful.  She was amazing.
Josh: This church has a great feel to it, if that makes sense.
"The one with Amena Brown"
Jordan: Like I just said she was amazing. God has given her such a gift and I am just feeling blessed that I got a chance to sit under her ministry tonight.
Josh: God has blessed us with words and she makes the most of this blessing. Realism meets imagination.
"The one with the Beautiful Drive Home"
Jordan:  The sky was an amazing color tonight, just gorgeous.
Josh: I love this city.
"The One With us At Menchies"
Jordan:  It was Josh's first time there...it's delicious!
Josh: Cake batter frozen yogurt should be outlawed. Wait, then I might break the law. Scratch that.
